Courtney Cowgill, CPA, CMA, CIA, CFE, CITP, CGMA

Courtney Cowgill  served as CFO of two public companies in Denver for more than 10 years. She was responsible for all financial operations including financial, public and international reporting; investor relations; risk management; treasury; tax and legal. Courtney's experience includes telecommunications and high tech, oil and gas and restaurants. Prior experience includes public accounting in an international firm, internal audit and controllerships on the path to CFO. Besides being an actively licensed CPA, she is also a Certified Management Accountant, a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Information Technology Professional and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. She has a BS in Accounting from Metropolitan State University in Denver and a Masters in Telecom Engineering from CU in Boulder. Courtney has served as President of FEI Colorado and many other Colorado professional and charitable organizations. She was appointed to the following boards by three different Colorado governors: Colorado Board of Accountancy for four years and as president for one year; Colorado Lottery Commission as the CPA representative and Commission Chair; CollegeInvest, Colorado’s 529 College Savings Plan for four years as a board member. Courtney has also served as National President of the American Society of Women Accountants.
